To ensure the Creator Hero desktop application functions as intended — including automatic updates, consistent settings storage, and full system integration — it is important that the application is installed correctly on macOS.
Running the application directly from the disk image (DMG) may lead to issues such as failed updates, temporary storage of settings, and limited file system access.
Please follow the steps below to complete the proper installation.
Installation Instructions
Download the Application
Visit the official Creator Hero download page and download the macOS .dmg installer file.
Open the Disk Image
Once the download is complete, double-click the .dmg file. This will open a new Finder window containing the Creator Hero application icon.
Move the Application to the Applications Folder
Drag the Creator Hero application icon into the Applications folder shortcut in the same window. This step installs the application to your system.
Important: Do not launch the application directly from the disk image. Applications run from a DMG reside in a read-only environment and may not function correctly.
Eject the Disk Image
After installation, right-click the mounted disk image on your desktop or in Finder’s sidebar and select Eject.
Launch the Application
Open the Applications folder from Finder and double-click the Creator Hero application to launch it from its installed location.
Why Installation Matters
Running the application from the DMG file can lead to:
Automatic updates not working, as the application resides on a read-only volume.
Settings and preferences not being saved between sessions.
Errors related to system file access or missing resources.
Installing the application in the Applications directory ensures:
Access to seamless updates and patch delivery.
Persistent storage of settings and user data.
Improved stability and compatibility with macOS.
